Upon graduating from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree Justin went to work for the Inland Group of Cos. in Chicago.In 1998 Justin founded Urban Equities, LLC, a boutique firm which specialized in the brokerage of net-leased properties and 1031 exchange investor advisory services.Simultaneously Justin teamed up with select co-investors to acquire and reposition infill retail assets throughout the Chicago area.
In 2005 Justin joined Interra Development Partners, a newly-formed retail development company capitalized by Prudential Real Estate Investors.Interra focused on new-construction retail development projects in core urban areas with high barriers to entry.In 2006 Justin opened Interra’s Miami office and oversaw every aspect of the acquisition, development, and leasing of Interra’s Florida projects.During his affiliation with Interra Justin worked on everything from single-tenant Walgreens projects to 200,000 square foot power centers.
Justin recently joined TriCapita to assist Seth Gadinsky with the company’s development and leasing efforts, as well as to identify opportunistic ventures which can be harvested by the company’s unique management team.
