Torris
Asset Recovery / Banking
David R. Torris has in excess of 23 years in managing all aspects of banking including commercial, retail, and corporate banking in the southeastern United States. He has held numerous divisional leadership and executive management positions with Bank of America and RBC Centura in South and North Carolina as well as Florida.
These positions include being the group leader for the Financial Strategies group for Bank of America in Greensboro, North Carolina and Greenville, South Carolina. He was also the market executive for RBC Centura for the South Carolina (2000-2005) and Florida (2005-2006) operations where he was responsible for all facets of the bank’s businesses.
In 2007 Torris became the CEO of Plantation Federal Bank. He then merged Plantation Federal with a sister bank in 2008 (First Savers Bank) to form a statewide banking concern in South Carolina.
Torris is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and a 1986 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Financial Management. He also is a 1987 graduate of SunTrust Bank’s management training program.
Today, David’s primary focus is to coordinate joint ventures with banks to help stabilize and ultimately dispose of its troubled real estate loans and REO’s through a systematic approach utilizing our unique Asset Recovery Company "ARC".
