Belt
Managing Partner
A.J. Belt, managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer of TriCapita has been a broker, property manager and builder of real estate since 1983. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill (1981), AJ began his real estate career as a leasing agent and broker of office product predominately located in the Ft. Lauderdale metro area under the flag of Belt & Associates. The organization’s scope of service was expanded with the creation of a property management arm in 1985 and after obtaining his State of Florida Certified General Contractors License, Belt Construction Company was created in 1986, which further enhanced the services offered by the Belt organization.
Throughout the mid 90’s, one of the Belt organization’s prime directives was the acquisition, underwriting and management of 16 Dutch partnerships initiated by the Dutch Corporation Dim B.V., which was ultimately comprised of 18 commercial properties throughout Florida. In 1997, AJ, along with partner Jan Dane, embarked on the creation of a publicly traded real estate fund, Dim Vastgoed N.V., which currently trades on the Euronext Amsterdam Exchange and concentrates its focus on the enhancement and expansion of its current commercial real estate portfolio located in the Southeast Region of the United States.
A.J. is not only responsible for the overall operations and performance of the company, but spearheads strategic planning for the purpose of continued enhancement of TriCapita as one of the most comprehensive and quality real estate companies in the Southeastern U.S. |
